How to take care of mental health?

The mental health issue is a drastic and most trending issue nowadays. No one wants to mull over it. As we all are busy in this materialistic world where competition is more important than any other thing, we are so indulged in competing that we are forgetting our mental well-being. Nowadays the problems of depression and anxiety have became a common thing. We can't even imagine that sometimes the person we know very closely is facing these problems. Sometimes our friends, relatives, even our family members with whom we live 24*7 are suffering from these mental health issues. They seem happy from the outside but they are depressed internally.

Talking about the causes there are many reasons that causes mental health issues. some COMMON TRIGGERS are;

#Causes of depression

Loss of a loved one through death, divorce or separation.Social isolation or feeling of being deprived.Major life changes; moving, graduation, job change, retirement. One of the immense reason is a too high expectation, sometimes people expect too much from someone or something but their expectation are not fulfilled, it may be related to your career or the person you love most etc.

# symptoms of depression

On the addition to it, if we discuss about the most occuring symptoms of depression it would be like, you may have insomnia or hypersomnia and bad thoughts are surrounding your mind. There may be recurring thought of death or suicide which makes the situation more worse or deteriorate it. And you feel like nothing is left for me in this selfish world. It is easy to say he/she had asked me for help. I would have helped him/her. Why did he do such a thing? But now it's a time for not to wait but to help. Simply help the one who needs you at that moment rather than letting out all these things which have no means.

#why is it so underrated

Mental health issues are raised as a world wide problem over few decades ,millions of people get victim of DEPRESSION , ANXIETY, DEJECTION and other severe mental health issues. Thousands of people commit suicide due to it.

Even then people don't take it seriously, they often try to stave off and don't want to discourse about this.If I have a broken leg, everyone would care about me, would give me special attention. I would get empathy from my family, friends and close ones, but if i have some problem in my most important part of the body i. e. Brain. Then, nobody would treat me same! WHY?? Because they don't consider it as a problem, a disease, a health issue, because these instincts came from our ancestors as humans have inbuilt survival instincts and if you have shelter, food and good physique then you are comfortable and have no problem and if you have problem in your brain that means you are a maniac or mad person. But we don't realize that an ancient solution won't be effectively applicable to a modern problem.

#Hypothesis about depression

There are also a thinking that having something materialistic like money would lead them to happiness or satisfaction and somehow we all are responsible for it.

I have seen many times parents saying their kids, ranking 1st in the class would lead them to happiness, getting a good job and minting money would lead them to happiness, if it is the reality then, people like STEPHANIE ADAMS, CHESTER BENNINGTON, KAUSHAL PUNJABI, PREKSHA MEHTA, SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT and many more would not have committed suicide.

#Reality

Moving on the solution, we all know that

Major or clinical DEPRESSION  is a serious, but treatable illness depending on the severity of symptoms. Your primary care doctor or a psychiatrist may recommend treatment with an antidepressant medication, they may also suggest psychotherapy or talk therapy in which you address your emotional state and which will surely be provide to be helpful.

In addition to it there are many other ways for self-treatment such as getting physical exercise yoga or you can go to a meditation camp. Avoiding substance abuse and engaging with friends and family will also help.

#Odd angle

If we talk about our ODD ANGLE to this issue we would say that,DEPRESSION is just more than a bad mood, and a major part of our mental health depends upon the people who surrounds us, sometimes it could be a post traumatic disorder but most of the times it is about the environment, friends, family and close ones. If someone is feeling depressed, anxious or dejected, it should be our responsibility to spend some good time, make them feel special and  give some special attention to them. The world is not ideal and neither our life, it is full of heartbreaks, struggle and bad people. Many will come and say

you are not enough,

you are not worthy,

you don't deserve it

you are worthless,

and the condition becomes miserable when you accept it.

It is your life, your rules and you are the CEO of it, you don't need to care about others opinions.

Ending up your life would not lead to the alteration of the situation. The life is for living and facing these situations. And once you'll overcome them, they would make you even more stronger because eventually the best way to get out of a situation is to pass through it.
