What causes depression? and How to fight depression?

Depression was never personal.

People are compelled by others to go in depression.

What if i tell you that depression was never a personal individual phenomena it is more socially imposed disorder and today i will tell you the impact of society on  individual's mental health and how people compel you to go depressed?



1.EMOTIONAL FACTOR

you might be facing the situations which would be hurting you emotionally and may leave you in sorrow and you may get depressed such as death of a loved one, breakup or rejection might affect you emotionally.


2. PHYSICAL OR HEALTH RELATED

you might be facing health issues which might affect you emotionally as well ,such as when you are diagnosed with cancer.


3. EXCESSIVE COMPETITION

you might get depressed due to excessive and unnecessary competition around you, Most of students feel depressed due to competition ,they set high standards for themselves or their parents insist them to compete and get first position and when the students do not fulfill expectation they get depressed.


4. SOCIAL OR PEER PRESSURE

many students and students feel depressed due to large expectations set by society and parents to perform well.

Every parent Should know that marks are not criteria for getting successful and earning money ,It is the talent and skills which decide future of their children, Most of the parents want their children to achieve those things which parents could not achieve in their life or they put burden of their dreams and aspirations on the shoulders of children which kills the children's creativity and uniqueness.

Every teenager is overloaded with extreme expectations and this makes them poor minded and more tensed and stressed.


AVOIDING DEPRESSION


1. Fill your life with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE 

 if you feel depressed you should start talk to people who unconditionally love i.e with whom you can easily discuss your weeknesses and negative side and they don't judge you ,rather they seek to help you ,look around yourself and observe who are these people.

For most of us our mother and friends are such people who love and listen to us any time without any judgement .

And those who live close to such people feel less depressed and upset.


2.BE EXPRESSIVE

one of the mistake which I committed and you might have also committed is that you keep your feelings and emotions inside you and you don't share your bad experience with others, and this chokes us and leaves us in vicious pond of depression so it is best to express

 how do you feel? And what bothers you?

Most of us think that why put others in trouble ? But we forget that our loved ones are one who care for you and when you share your problems with them they feel good because they get to know that you trust them and they will definitely help you come out of that feelings .

Express your feelings to your parents and friends and any person whom you are comfortable.


3.Refrain from UNNECESSARY COMPETITION

You should decide it is you get to live and enjoy your life according to your standards .

Just avoid watching the picture that world plays or shows , you have your own eyes and mind to explore world according to your choice .

Your foremost goal should be learning skill and not to compete .

Enjoy the process of learning and forget about outcome.


4. Divide your EMOTIONAL DEPENDENCE

Emotional dependence on person can often result in depression and stress so try loving more people ,devote your time to many people not just a boy or a girl .

You have your family ,love them 

You have friends, love them 

Plant some trees and love them , look after them.

The world is too big to love others.

5. Develop an INTEREST OR HOBBY

You can indulge in a hobby or interest which gives you pleasure and utilise your time for such activities which fills your life with gratitude and happiness.

Start serving underprivileged children , feeding street animals , help others and you will see your life will be full of satisfaction and happiness .


THE ODD ANGLE TO SITUATION

For eradication of the negative feelings ,stress , depression and tension you need to surround yourself with positivity .

Spend time with positive people build positive social relationships and indulge yourself in actions which makes you proud and start feeling gratitude for what's already yours .

Say thank you for life ,say thank you for parents ,say thank you for health ,say thank you for eyes , for limbs for abilities to learn , write and read and you will see you have plenty , you are no less than gem .
