PM Modi crying in conference
The political crying
I miss that FEARLESS , STRONG and OPTIMISTIC ,GHAR ME GHUSKE MARENGE type PM NARENDRA MODI
How about you ?
Out burst of GRIEF , HELPLESSNESS or CROCODILE TEARS!
THE NEW EMOTIONAL PM
On 21 May we got new PM
during a press conference with doctors and frontline workers in his constituency Varanasi, PM Modi was found to be crying . He choked up while showing his grief to the families "who lost people" during this Pandemic. On the other hand Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other handles flooded the internet faster than his tears making their way through his face.
The video went viral within seconds, with carrying both support and critics.
With the PM's supporters calling it an "outburst of grief" for the people who've died and the Opposition calling it "drama" or "crocodile tears".
POLITICAL CRYING
There used to be a time when shedding tears could finish political career But now it is mandatory to cry in politics.
Crying publicly is a political threat for the leaders because you may perceive it as weakness But there's a odd angle as well sometimes being emotional turns virtue for political leaders because crying often ends up in provoking EMOTIONAL SUPPORT for leaders.
PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
In your body you have a nueron called as MIRROR NUERON that fires both when a person acts and observes the same action performed by another.
This is reason why you get emotional during an emotional scene in television.
And according to a research we are quicker to deduce that crying faces are in need of support.
MODI IS NOT ONLY EMOTIONAL
There are many other international and national leaders joining him into the list like JAWAHARLAL NEHRU
ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE
LAL KRISHNA ADWANI and there would be many in future.
There crying is not only confined to Indian politicians it's an art used by all last three president of USA and VLADIMIR PUTIN, Theresa of England even KIM JONG UN has cried which depicts how genuine is crying in politics.
WHAT IF MODI WAS GENUINELY CRYING ?
We all are in grief about deaths but we don't cry rather than PSYCHOLOGY says adult people cry in public when they are HELPLESS but if you will ask about me or common people we are HELPLESS
But how could a prime minister who has all power is HELPLESS.
Thus this crying is definitely not a HELPLESSNESS.
Do you remember RAKESH TIKAIT who also cried and crying did benefit him in form of large numbers of farmers ?
Those who called his crying a political stunt would now account for MODI's crying.
As far as i understand it RAKESH TIKAIT was helpless.
ACCOUNTING PM MODI's TEARS
You know India is the biggest and one of the complex democracy of the world. And handling such huge country is not very easy job. But being Prime minister of the country where number of deaths are alarming.
EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN may not be the right step .
Every DOCTOR , FRONTLINE WORKER and common people ,look to PM for guidance and support but instead of showing HOPE PM MODI cried and appealed every one to not to plan but to cry.
Conclusion
You will agree to the fact that being emotional and crying is normal human behaviour but political crying often results in manipulation of biological phenomenon of unintentional emotional support by public.
Crying can be tremendous boost to PM,
When a leader cries it marks a rare moment by which you can be sure of their sincerity .

ReplyDeleteWhat i think is until we won't change our perspective about the leaders and nation this kind of act will be there by many leaders as they are bounded by vote banks, funds etc they would do this to show how insecure they are about their career

ReplyDeleteNice percepective... But I think at the moment when u r questioning ur self about all round ur self or ur inner self too then it doesn't matter weather u r in front of thousands or organizing a huge body, things just happened as it flows... while I also agree to the fact that this emotionally state should not be the part in ur hurdle to work as karma is what u have in ur hands...
